Michael Ian Black 'My Custom Van'

It's 5AM and this is my 852nd blog post for the day. I'm not 100% sure what the hell is wrong with me but I'm still amped to keep working and getting things done! Nonetheless, I photographed the cover and author photo for Michael Ian Black's first book, 'My Custom Van'.

This photo shoot was a true team effort and was completed with the help of all sorts of friends. Old friend, Mike Nagin was the person that hired me and art directed the book. Thanks Mike! Tino Razo supplied the van and Scott Lenhardt did the airbrush work on it's side.

I haven't read the entire book yet as I am knee deep in the new Sedaris however I DID read the essay titled 'My Custom Van' and it's real funny. Seriously.
