Shred for Your Life part 1!

Back in September super good friend, Marc Razo hosted his 5th guitar battle sensation better known as Shred for Your Life! Twelve contestants play through several rounds until one person is announced champion. You can choose to play with a back-up band or all alone.

I've been lucky enough to be one of the judges for three separate competitions - this year myself, former SFYL champ, Johnny Rad (of Children fame) and Brian DeRan judged the most insane competition ever!

Seeing as how I was judging and didn't want to split my attention between shooting photos AND choosing guitar battle winners (it's a hard life) I only photographed the soundcheck and everything preceding the actual event. Friend Greg was nice enough to digital camera the event for me, however. I'll throw the event photos up a little later...
